About
fuse Collective

fuse is an interdisciplinary collective that creates non-hierarchical performance art.

Co-founded by dance artist Lucy Clark, visual artists DANI&TING (Daniela Zaharieva & Yi Ting Liong) and creative technologist/musician Philip Kinshuck, our work is supported by research in how, when, and why art forms integrate for true collaboration. We strive to create unique work that amplifies the imagination, producing performances and experiences that are live, interactive, immersive, and intuitive.

Lucy Clark - Dance artist

Lucy is a disabled dance artist invested in how vulnerability can be used as a performative tool for active advocacy. Based on her lived experience of hidden disability, her work focuses on making the unseen seen, exploring how our lived experiences can initiate conversations that usually remain unspoken.

As part of fuse collective, Lucy is responsible for co-producing, administration, creating choreography and performing.

DANI&TING - Visual Artists

DANI&TING (Daniela Zaharieva & Yi Ting Liong) is a creative duo whose work focuses on bringing the experimental and traditional together, crossing boundaries of various art forms. Their process heavily utilises mixed media experiments to create work that is less controlled by personal perceptions, but instead led by unsystematic interventions.

As part of fuse collective, DANI&TING are responsible for co-producing (tech) and creating visual art for performances/exhibitions.

Philip Kinshuck - creative technologist/musician

Philip has a diverse skillset with expertise in sound design, real-time computer graphics, Unreal Engine 5, and AI pose recognition, allowing him to create interactive work that flawlessly blends art and technology. He is driven by a profound passion for innovative and immersive storytelling.

As part of fuse collective, Philip is responsible for composing and playing music live, and learning new technologies.

As a collective, we take co-responsibility for final outcomes we produce and ensuring that it remains a high quality experience for all involved. We prioritise care, inclusivity, accessibility, negotiation, and compromise in order to create safe spaces for each other to find ways to collaborate that work for us all.
